a lofty acheivement

i have always. always. always.

wanted to paint walls.

and after living in Comfy Glen for almost a year

i finally went ahead and purchased some paint and supplies.

i coated three of Little Lady's walls white and one a bright pink

they used to be a hideous light pink.

i painted three of Little Man and Bitty Boy's walls white and one a cheery yellow

they used to be a nasty light purple.

their rooms are now fresh

and i smile every time i go into them :)

a month went by

and i was itching to paint some more.

i have always wanted a striped wall

and i knew the living room wall would be PERFECT

3 hours of taping

and 2 hours of painting later...

i'm quite pleased.

i keep walking upstairs and looking at it.

and Deer is rather happy with it too.

now i just need to get the drapes and pictures up and that room will be almost finished!

it feels delightful to have the freedom to finally do what i want to my home.

and it feels even more delightful to actually participate in that freedom.

i think i often discourage myself from doing things out of fear.
